CoHeWe – Co-Created Health and Wellbeing project

14.11.2018

The primary objective of the CoHeWe project is to promote cooperation between businesses and cities and enable the development and piloting of new, customer-oriented wellbeing and health services. These include services that promote health and well-being, exercise and health services that prevent illnesses, as well as rehabilitation solutions or digital remote measuring and self-care solutions. The services are based on the needs of municipal residents and health care professionals.

The cities have engaged in co-creation with companies in their own right. The project utilises the existing development platforms and operational models of the cities. These include the Agile Piloting programme developed in Helsinki, the well-being centre model developed in Tampere between public and private social welfare and health care services and a model developed in Oulu, which OuluHealth Labs has used for testing companies’ solutions. Vantaa utilises the lessons learned from the models mentioned above, focusing on shared experiments with companies.

Tampere University Hospital Tays coordinates the CoHeWe project and partners include Forum Virium Helsinki, Laurea University of Applied Sciences, the City of Oulu, University of Oulu, the City of Tampere and the City of Vantaa. The project will run from 1 August 2018 to 31 December 2020 and has a budget of EUR 1,894,253.
